SSR Selfie 2020

LI learn about the new book.

new book called wings of fire  I had to answer the questions.
It was a fiction book about dragons.
I didn't like the book and didn't want to anymore.

Independent activities.

LI to practise independent activities.
 our groups storted a rotation.

The activi attempted were Basic Face Boxes,Drills, Alonos, and finding a group logs.
For the drills I had to answer addition questions. I am happy I did the drills by myself. I found the abacus activity hard.

Today we made a google draw of our face.

Mr Wong took a photo and we had to copy it on draw.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi

This week we have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi by accessing different text types and media.

In groups we needed to firstly access the information and gather the main ideas of Who, What, Where, Why and When. We had journal stories, websites, youtube videos and more.

We then had to summarise the information into sentences using key words. Even though we all picked out different words, the main idea of the treaty are the 3 Ps.

The 3 Ps are Protection, Partnership and Participation. This is what the treaty set out to achieve.

We then had to evaluate our new learnings and think of questions that we want to find more information on.

The maori people and the british people weren’t best friends before the treaty.
